Hi, I'm Staycee Dixson, founder of Rise of the Champions Foundation, educator, foster parent, speaker, advocate, and someone who believes deeply in the power of healing, leadership, and community.

My journey did not begin with ideal circumstances. I grew up as a displaced youth with parents who struggled with addiction and incarceration. At sixteen, I became a young mother while trying to find stability, purpose, and a path forward.

 

Everything began to change when God placed Ramona Brooks in my life. She became the mentor and mother figure I didn't know I needed. Through her love, guidance, and unwavering faith, she helped me see that our circumstances do not determine our future. One of the greatest lessons she taught me was that we are not meant to do life alone.

 

That lesson became the foundation for everything I do today.

 

For more than two decades, I have dedicated my life to serving children, youth, and families through education, foster care, leadership development, and community advocacy. Along the way, I became a certified teacher, First Aid/CPR instructor, CDA Professional Development Specialist, trauma-informed advocate, poet, and therapeutic foster parent. I have had the privilege of fostering more than 57 children and helping countless youth and families navigate challenges, discover their strengths, and build brighter futures.

 

I founded Rise of the Champions Foundation to create the kind of support, encouragement, and opportunities that change lives. Through trauma-informed programs, leadership development experiences, healing-centered initiatives, and community partnerships, we help youth, families, and caregivers move from survival to growth, purpose, and leadership.

 

Everything I do is guided by Colossians 3:23-24:

 

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord."

 

Whether I'm speaking on a stage, mentoring a young person, supporting a family, or leading a community initiative, my goal remains the same: to help people recognize their value, embrace their potential, and rise into who they were created to become.
